The linear speed of each group of drying cylinders can be adjusted separately to maintain a small speed difference between each group of drying cylinders to compensate for the shrinkage of the paper sheet in the drying process. The dryness of the paper out of the drying section is generally about 92 ~ 94%. At the end of the drying part, a cold cylinder is generally equipped to enable water and gas to condense on the cold cylinder surface. Condensed water can wet the paper surface to obtain better surface smoothness in finishing. The diameter of drying cylinder is 1.5m. Single sided glossy paper can obtain high single-sided glossiness by using large-diameter dryer with high hardness and high finish. The diameter of large-diameter dryer is generally 3 ~ 7.5m.
