  The working environment of paper machinery is humid and high temperature, and some equipment is also accompanied by impact load. Therefore, in the selection of lubricant, its demulsibility, water resistance, heat oxidation stability and load resistance are mainly considered. The lubrication points of paper machinery are closed in principle. The bearings in the wet section of papermaking machinery, that is, from the headbox to the press section, are sealed with bearing shells to prevent cross pollution caused by water immersion and grease overflow. In the dry section of the paper machine, due to the high temperature during operation, the central lubrication station is used to transfer lubricating oil to various bearings for lubrication and heat dissipation. The grease lubrication points at the wet end mostly adopt the method of regular manual patrol inspection and grease injection and replacement, so the lubrication system often refers to the central lubrication station in the dry section and all transmission and oil supply pipelines and oil injection devices.

  The lubrication station in the dry section of the paper machine is usually selected from the standard general model, which is better in terms of oil filtering capacity and oil temperature control capacity. If there is a magnetic filter and constant temperature control, it is more suitable. The oil transportation volume of the lubrication station shall generally be calculated according to the heat dissipation needs of each lubrication point.

  The oil supply of closed bearing shells in the dry section of paper machine mostly adopts adjustable oiler, which is also known as oil dropping valve, which makes the oil supplied to the bearing appropriate and continuous. This kind of oiler is very suitable and reliable for the system of manually adjusting the oil quantity.

  On the new high-speed wide width paper machine, the main bearings in the wet section are also centrally and automatically lubricated by the central lubrication station. In this system, the wet and dry sections of the paper machine are equipped with central lubrication stations, but they are uniformly managed and operated by the automatic control system. The control of oil filling quantity at each lubricating point is realized by a small metering pump driven by a micro motor. The automatic control system monitors the flowmeter and pressure gauge on the oil filling pipeline by means of electronic computer or other software regulation, and regulates the metering oil injection pump motor.
