Application:
ZNP series disc thickener is mainly used to wash and thicken stock in pulping and paper-making process. Its working principle is to dewater by gravity through the level difference between stock out of disc wire and white water in the disc. The pulp at the consistency of 0.8-1.2%enters into the vat, then it is attached to the disc sector. The white water in the disc flows to the ends of hollow shaft through guide slot and then discharges out. Stock attached on disc sector is knocked off by high-pressure shower. When the stock level is higher than the gate plate of adjusting valve, stock overflows into outlet chamber from where it is discharged out in the consistency of 3-4%. The outlet consistency and capacity can be adjusted by rotating speed of main shaft.

Discs are made of stainless steel with excellent correction resistance.
Due to the structure of disc sector, the filtering area is large, allowing filtrating large amount of white water when operating.
Compared with the consistency by the common cylinder wire thickener, the consistency of white water filtrated is lower.
