Application:
ZNW Series Cylinder Wire Thickener can be used in the washing and dewatering of low consistency stock in paper making and pulping process. It works like a filter by gravity. The inlet consistency is around 0.5%-1%, and outlet consistency is 4%-6% based on different stock.
Design Features:
Its working principle is to dewater through the level difference between stock outside and inside of cylinder as well as press between press roll and cylinder.
As a main part of thickener, the cylinder consists of end spoke, middle spoke, filter wire and main shaft. The wire is made by steel plate with holes or UHMWPE plate covered with wires of different meshes.
It also have press roll and blade in the thickener. The press roll is driven by cylinder on the side plate, it is covered by rubber, the hardness of roll surface is 60-65°(Shore). The pressure of press roll is adjusted by hand wheel. The press roll is equipped with blade,the blade is cling roll surface for peeling stock.
There are two points shall be pay attention when operation, one is to keep the stable stock level to avoid overflow and wire blocking, the other is that the tightened seal belt obstructs stock from thickening.
